AED worked closely with Steve Stewart of Stewart Brewing to take the multi-phase project from inception and brief development through Planning and detailed design to Warrant. The project was then handed over to the D&B contractor for the Phase 1 build. The building you currently see is Phase 1 with Phases 2 and 3 comprising wings planned at right angles to the building to form a horse-shoe around the car park.

AED carried out architectural, structural and civil engineering design for the project, including the car park, the boundaries and the sewerage connections. The rear and side of the building were fire boundaries on this project, with the cladding and supporting structure being analyses, design and detailed accordingly. The ground floor offices were designed so that their roof could become occupied by further office space, as has now taken place.
